This is one of my favorite festivals. Good cause and great beers. Particularly enjoy the home brewers section. Had some really good ipas last year and some other beers I wouldn't normally drink. Standouts were Absent Logic Brewing Hops Against the Machine and Bird in the Hand Honey Basil Rye w Lemon Zest. Looking forward to it again this year. Anyone else?

One of my favorite events in the city. Gave away my LSU tickets so I could attend this year.

Dogs and good beer. What else do you need?

If this is a check in, I'm in and will be there.

Look forward to the home brew.

And don't forget for you serious beer geeks, it's Zwanze day at the Avenue Pub. LINK

I just love the nice set up at Nola on Tap and the amount/quality of homebrewers. I will take this event over that crap at that's put on at Champions Square anytime.

I wouldn't pass up Zwanze day for another pedestrian beer / NOLA festival.

True, you will get so many more likes on your social media post from Zwanze day than NOT.

Only this one is not pedestrian, the amount of home brews makes it worth it

I am bummed this is on an LSU home game. I always enjoy this festival.

Are they doing the pre-pay bands like they did last year? I remember a lot of publications making a big deal out of this since it was the first time the payment system was being used in Louisiana. I have yet to see the payment wristband used at any other festival so it must not have caught on.

I bought pre-pay tickets and no wristbands this year. I liked the wristbands.

Yep, nothing like waiting 6 hours in a crowded bar and paying $30 to get a 6oz pour of a Belgian sour.

But I'm glad some people enjoy doing that.
