no, there is nothing in algiers to see
I would go garden district/magazine, city park and/or riverbend/uptown if you want to explore
you can't go wrong with any of the suggestions in this thread

I've gone in the afternoon wearing flip flops. It's a little dressier after dark

It opens at 2 on weekends and 4 on weekdays

ETA: pic I took the last time we were up there about a month ago

Any grocery stores/bottle shops near-ish to the convention center where I can stock up on good LA beer?

If I've got to work remotely, I might as well drink while I'm doing it.

Rouses will have a decent enough selection. There is one in the CBD
