New Orleans for the weekend for a first time 24 year old

cousin just texted me saying he and some buddies are coming to new orleans and staying in the quarter this weekend.
hes 24, lives in San Antonio and they have never been to NOLA before. they like to party and hes asking me what i recommended for them
im in my mid 30s and when i go its with my my wife and we go more mellow places. havent been to the party crazy bourbon/square scene in a while and since its their first time they obviously need to do that at least once
any food/good bar recommendations are appreciated

Seriously! Last time I was there two jabronis decided to throw down next to me. I got shoved and then I used my body to shield one of the girls I was with. Next thing I know I'm being dragged out by security. I just kinda nodded and accepted it, and after a few minutes they realized their mistake, but I've not been back since. I know. CSB.
Just do F&Ms. About midnight to 4 or 5, then Snakes. Or The Saint.
