New Belgium Salted Belgian Chocolate Stout and their beers in general

Has anyone tried the Salted Belgian Chocolate Stout?
It sounds great, but given that Fat Tire is terrible, I'm wondering.
I think Fat Tire is the only thing I've tried. What about their other offerings?

They make some great beers. The Salted Stout is nice to split a bottle but is a tad much to drink alone.
I like the trippel, Abby ale, and Eric's ale.

Some of their specialty beers are really good. I had Eric's Ale recently and really enjoyed it. I wouldn't judge them all by Fat Tire.

Thanks guys.
I was never a big Fat Tire fan, but it was really broght home to me last week.
I was with some friend and drinking a Terrapin Hopsecutioner. The New Belgium rep was there and passing out samples. I took a drink and the difference was astounding.
Also illustrated that if I have to taste things side by side, I probably don't have the most discerning beer palate. Oh well. It's not a bad thing. Just means I won't be as picky.

The Salted Belgian is pretty good. It's not something I'd get more than once, but I remember it being a decent beer.
I used to love New Belgian. It was some of the best craft beer that I could get at one time. Now, there are just too many better options. IMO all of their stuff is slightly above average.

The salted belgian is pretty good. La Folie is my favorite beer by them.

I think I am going to hit up "beer school" at WOB tonight.
"nominal charge of $5, which just covers the cost of your souvenir pint glass from Southbound brewery"
Guy from Southbound will be there I guess describing their offerings.
Thinking of trying the Salted Belgian while I am there.

Most of the their Lips of Faith series are good to great. Some are horrible though.
The Cocoa Mole was one of the worst beers I've had in awhile.
I thought that salted Belgian stout was quite good.

I'm a fan of the Trippel

I didn't really dig the Salted Belgian Chocolate Stout. Their Lips of Faith bombers are mostly hit or miss. Probably more misses.
Fat Tire isn't a terrible beer. It's an amber ale designed with mass appeal in mind. There's a difference.
For the most part, I don't drink much NB because their beers typically don't align with my wants. But there are a few I do enjoy from time to time. It doesn't make them a bad brewery. I respect the hell out of them and what they do as a company.

That explains a lot.

Yeah, don't do that.
I understand now.

someone had the salted chocolate stout at the bama game last year and I thought it was good. I really like la folie and I also like cocoa mole (but I may be in the minority).
