Steakhouse = Mastros, Gibsons, or Chicago Cut

Pizza = Art of Pizza, Pequod's, or Lou Malnatis

Sushi = Sunda (no debate)

Best Overall = Girl and the Goat, Giant, Boka, Piccolo Sogno, Purple Pig, Publican, Au Cheval.

Best Fast Food = Portillo's

Because it's not a place you can just casually get a reservation at. It's like telling someone to go to French laundry while they're in the bay area.

Just went to Gene and Georgetti a few months ago. Also did Gage. They served up excellent steaks. Would highly recommend both.

Went to Miller's Pub for ribs and beer. Great old school spot.

Flo and Santo's had a good beer menu and great thin crust pizza.

My kids loved Portillo.

Deep Dish - Lou Malnati's in Gold coast area of town
Wildfire - good food with huge menu to choose from

Just returned from Chicago - I can recommend Sunda for sushi or a noodle dish. Excellent service excellent dinner -

Breakfast treat - Eggy’s was amazing - cheers
