Baton Rouge area is just a bastion of great cuisine

I have never eaten at Mooyah, because in the radio ad, the owner says he likes to come out in the dining room and chat with the guest.
Like I want to be bothered while im eating.

Know the owner, nice guy. I think it's a bad location though.

Denham Springs has the most dire restaurant scene imaginable.

I don't think it's bad. Those burger joints like 5 guys, Burger Smith and Freddy's always seem to be busy. Supposedly there was supposed to be a Quaker Steak and Lube coming to that area also but I haven't heard anything about that for at least a year.

Another one is opening over by Mr. Ronnie's Donuts. Didn't know Mooyah was that popular.

I haven't reached out to him yet to see if he will be opening it but would assume so. Most of those franchises have a certain area they have the rights to and have to open so many in a certain period of time. Except for Chic-Fil-A they only want you to have one or two at the most.

its a good fallback option if you're craving a burger and have no other options, but i wouldnt go out of my way to eat there.
