don't forget about Big Mommas down on S.2nd.. Fantastic southern cooked home vittles... Ribs, chitlins, greens and stuff... Scary neighborhood, but once you get in, you'll most likely see the mayor and most of the local politicians..

Waterfront is a must do if you are headed to Monroe.

Mohawk on Louisville is also very good.

Daqs has a great burger and grilled chicken sandwiches. Get the jalapeño bun. It is great.

Dylan's in West Monroe has by far the best po boy in the parish.

Bacco in Washington Plaza is really good for a formal supper.

Warehouse also for formal supper.

Monroe has decent local restaurants.

No drinking & driving. Cops mean business with DUI's.

318-322-3113 is the taxi company.
