The Point is technically in Harvey, by the river and canal. Good stuff. Further down 4th St in Mawwewo is Schnell’s. Also good.

20 minutes west to Gonzo's Smokehouse in Luling. Some darn fine eats, but Thurs/Fri only last I heard. They're really nice people, too, but there will be a line.
This is their boudin. Its made with all the debris from chopping brisket and pork all day. Bloody amazing.
