theyre all staged. to what degree, i dont really know. i dont doubt the owner is exactly like what is being portrayed here though.

Barry is exactly like what you see. He's not a bad guy, just grumpy most of the time. :)

I honestly don't get the obsession with this place. We went maybe 5 or 6 times pre-Irvine and it was very inconsistent, ranging from slightly above average to terrible. We went once after the show taped with high hopes but it honestly wasn't much better.

I've been to Mama Dellas twice......the first was before this show.
We told the girl it was our first time there and Barry came out and brought us some free garlic knots and chatted with us about NYC as my wife lived there for a bit.
The 2nd time was during the ice storm and Barry was working alone and said he let all his workers go home early to ensure they could get home before the roads got bad.

Mrs. Pimp took the kids there recently and it scored three thumbs up and one kind of down. My wife told me this will be her go-to pizza place from now on. There was almost nobody there on a weekday dinner. She said they were all super-nice. I'd imagine his rent is around 5k to 6k per month.

I want to know who ate during this taping? Would it not smell like fresh paint?!! I have painted a room and eating in the room one hour after painting ain't happening
