What's up with The Cottage and only women liking it?

And again, thanks for all of the suggestions, everyone.

Doesn't really matter, it's decent enough food hidden in a desolate wasteland. Unfortunately, it's one of the better options around there.

Cause women love a 2 ounce scoop of chicken salad on a spinach leaf with a slice of strawberry, and almond tea.

But the stuffed burger is great.

And if going with a big group call and get a lunch reservation.

you post this in a thread that contains a large number of as good or better options. Strange.

The Alex food scene is way ahead of where it was just 5-6 years ago, and people still post dumb shite, it aggravates me.

For a town our size, we have legit options in quite a few diff cuisines. We are just a couple of more local places away from being pretty comparable to Monroe, which is recognized as having good dining for a mid size La city.

Have you eaten at any of the literally dozens of non chain locations mentioned in this thread?

Alex has nothing remotely comparable to Cotton or Nonna like Monroe.

Embers, Wildwood, Verona, sombreros, new Spirits menu and fairly new location, mama and Papas pizza, Atwoods breakfast and lunch menu, Good Peoples Kitchen, word of Mouth, beer at Finnegan's, Caro Mexican food hut. Great new crawfish place in Hotheads. People can minimize the above but all have added certain dimensions and needed options

Live music offerings constantly at Embers and Spirits

As far as Nonna, ambiance aside the food at Verona is as good or better.

Cotton is good. Janohns is pretty comparable in many ways
