I don't think I have ever stood in line for a Parish beer. Doubt I ever will.

Oh the joys of craft beer in La and any event in Nola. LOL
Seems everything ends up super crowded

I'd stand in line again at Hill Farmstead. Probably Trillium. Probably not at Tree House. Tree House was miserable.

It's a fricking beer.

Seriously, I love beer and don't mind driving around because that is what I do to kill stress, but standing in a line to get a beer is beyond my comprehension.

If you would have drank craft beer back in 2004 before it was cool you wouldn't have had to deal with crowds. That's why I stay home now and groom my llama.

You ain't lying. Thought I'd pre-pay, skip a line or two and get some brews. Noooope.

Felt like Matt Ryan organized that game plan.

What kind of fur you got on that thing?

Been looking at some alpaca throws/blankets recently

The chinese looms can't handle the llama fur. And the purevian looms cost a neck and a beek.

I arrived later in the evening, around 7:45 pm and although it was still a large crowd it wasn't bad at that point. Walked up to a tent with cash and got a beer right away and maybe waited in line 5-7 minutes to get beer from the main bar. However pretty much all the food was sold out. I imagine if I would have showed up at 6pm I would have left like many people here.

So yes, it was too big and seemed unorganized. That said, at 8pm there was by far the most women, especially groups of women, I've ever seen at a "beer event". Was with my wife so, maybe, wasn't looking too hard though.

I don't mind it when I can buy 3-6 cases at a time and that's what I'm going to drink for a solid period of time. But standing in line for something that is going to be gone in a week? Or to wait in line to grab a DRAFT? Maybe two since I'm being pragmatic and I know that I just have to get my beer and walk to the end of the line to do it all over again?

Yeah, no part of that sounds like fun.

When I first got there I thought it was going to suck, but the line moved fairly quickly, and standing in line with a beer in my hand while talking to friends isn't that much different than standing in a bar with a beer in my hand talking to friends.

I got there about 5. Waiting about 5 minutes for the Courtyard line. After that there was no way I was getting back in that line when it was past the ramp. However I just got a few double pours of the beers in the tents and didn't wait more than a few minutes. But yea it was crazy crowded around 530-6.
