Yes, or make the drive over to Tyler and eat at Stanley's. Stanleys is better BBQ than Bodacious but Bodacious is still pretty solid.

Any other barbecue I've ever had. My BIL and his family are from over that way. The way they describe it you'd think youre going to Franklin's. It's not disgusting, but I've had 10x better

No, in general. If I was in Longview I'd eat somewhere else because Bodacious isn't that good.

Damn good salmon as well. Mac and cheese is a must. And the egg white old fashioned is so so good.

Bodacious is very forgettable and will leave you underwhelmed given the Texas BBQ standard.

Stanley's in Tyler will be well worth the trip.

ETA I've only been to one off I 20 at Tyler State Park exit.

So are you going to just shite on other poster's recommendations or actually make one yourself?

I know it's all subjective but Texas Monthly rates Bodacious on Mobberly pretty high and they're rankings are held in high regard.

Burger: Butcher Shop

I haven't been in many years, but we had many good visits there. They serve you a big burger, and you build it as you like at the fixins bar with everything from pickles to chili. It's fun to watch people overload their burgers with free toppings.
