I just purchased the shun classic 6" chef's knife and the shun classic 6.5" nakiri. This is my first foret into high end knives, but I have heard great things about the shun brand. Anyone own either of these?

Don't know. I have a Henckel's and am quite happy with it, but really it isn't like a $100 knife is a major expenditure. Get something that feels good in the hand and roll with it.
