I like the Community Breakfast Blend.

Also, thanks for this thread. I just spent $65 on Amazon - half of that went to a new 50 pack of Donut Shop.

San Francisco Bay Breakfast Blend for me. $28 for 80 count on Amazon. I like Community but it's ridiculously overpriced for what it is.

Awesome. I'm really interested in home roasting.

Do you always use the pop-corn popper?

What about the oven?

I think you get a more intense yet even heat with the popcorn popper. Temps near 500 degrees. In the oven you end up just baking the beans as opposed to roasting them or burning the bottoms because your pan will be hotter than the ambient air. The popcorn popper is super easy and dirt cheap ($15 or so)

I will definitely check that out. I like that the popper is fairly small, should be easy to store away.

Think you can find one on Amazon?

Not to hijack the thread, but have any of you tried out Hivolt (by Half moon) yet?

Zero chance of getting a good shot of coffee with a large thimble of old arse found beans. There is simply not enough stale coffee left in that tiny pod to produce an OK result. That goes for the Kcups as well, but Nespresso pods are idiotically small.

Yeah not to mention you're paying about 65 cents per cup for pods, as opposed to around 17 cents per cup with regular drip coffee.

You drink Cool Brew in addition to drip...right?

Some of us can justify the costs.

Not if I'm only drinking 1 cup and tossing the rest of the pot.

Yeah, everyone knows that the only way to brew a pot of drip coffee is to fill it up to the top.

Mostly trolling. We have Peets at my office so I drink that some, but I mostly drink this stuff from Costco.

Kroger in Katy had a double pack of Community Coffee Dark Roast for $9.99 for 24 pack. Pretty good deal.
