I purchased the LeBlanc's fresh green onion sausage last Saturday from the Duplessis location. Was eating a link today when I bit into a small chunk of aluminum. I contacted the store manager & he was aware of other complaints with metal in that sausage. Apparently, the sausage arrives in tubes & the clips on the end of the tube(s) may have been processed into the green onion sausage. The manager mentioned that all of the Green onion sausage packages were removed from the shelves, but be careful if you've purchased fresh sausage from that location recently. Who knows how much aluminum I've consumed in the 3 prior links from that package?

Did he offer to compensate you in any way?

He was very apologetic & offered a refund for the purchase. I laughed when he asked if I still had the packaging or receipt from the purchase for the refund amount. A likely <$2 difference between most packages seems insignificant considering the circumstances. I informed him that I did not have either but would gladly bring the last link and metal piece for review.
