Just got a gift card for the Wayne stabler group, has The little Village, stabs, catering cajun and Shucks on it....Interesting that shucks is part of his group and no mention of Le Creole so I guess it is officially gone?

He mentioned when he closed it he was moving it close by. The only place I can think of available would be the old Galatoire's location on Perkins and really it didn't sound like he was in a big hurry. I wouldn't be either since the place blew.

Popular restaurant Le Creolé will move from its current location off Highland Road to a yet unannounced spot nearby,
Wayne Stabiler, owner of Le Creolé and several other area restaurants, says he can’t disclose where exactly the restaurant will be moving because the deal has yet to be finalized, but adds “it won’t be far from where it was.”

Plans are to build a new freestanding home for the restaurant at an undisclosed location, said Laila Britos, director of operations for Wayne Stabiler companies.
Britos said the new location will give Le Creole more parking spaces to accommodate the banquets and rehearsal dinners it hosts.
