Kamado Joe - Joe-tisserie, worth it?

Does anybody have one and if so, would you recommend it? Every review I’ve seen of them makes them sound like a huge upgrade for the Joe.
I’m probably going to pull the trigger on one but just wanted to gauge the board’s thoughts on it.
Also, if anybody has a line on maybe a cheaper knock off brand, could you please share it? The Kamado Joe brand rotisseries are expensive as hell.
Thanks.

Yes use mine all the time. Get a rotisserie basket as well great for wings, veggies, fries etc...

I see that this will fit a big green egg also, but is there enough room to use the deflector plate, or do I have to cook directly over the coals?

I've only seen people on the webz use it for wings, and I'm always finding fries in the oven suck. I love the idea of using for veggies and fries. I need to get me one of these. It's been on my to do list for a while, but
I always have been concerned I wouldn't use it very much

From what I understand is it’s better flavor if you do it over the coals. But then again, I don’t have one.
