Yeah, I don't know how I messed that up, but 2.4 gallons is what I get now. Might have had a little too much Ripple.

I was there, I think final number is 78. That's outstanding, that's correct on 2 heats. Heat 1 starts and 8am and Heat 2 starts at 930am. Will be a good time for a great cause

we will be in heat 2 as well, and yes This has the potential of being a cluster, but the guys n gals putting this on are doing thier damn best to make it go as smooth as possible, only the second time they have done this and I am sure what they learn from this one will make next years even better.

Also a great charity they are supporting.....woundedweardotorg

My buddy entered in it and has never made a jambalaya in his life. And he's a drunkard. You won't get last place with him there!

Yea I know the guy that is sponsoring an additional 8. We were standing outside drinking a beer and he decided he'd pay for ingredients for another 8 finalists. Solid move. to him.

Oh well, did not make the cut, but I was very pleased with how my pot turned out, just was not what they were looking for. I feel they did a great job with putting this thing on, lots of people there and got hot and crowded but overall went as smooth as it could. Hope to enter next year
