I think what sucks most about Chiotle is there aren't that many things you can put on the burrito like at Izzo's.

Chipotle pluses: Fajita vegetables
Chipotle minuses: No plain tomatoes or red onions, just regular pico made with soap (cilantro). I have to request plain rice which takes them a while to retrieve.

Izzo pluses: Plain tomatoes kept close on hand, red onions. Mexican rice sans soap.
Izzo minuses: Grilled onions, but no bell peppers, i.e. incomplete fajita vegetables.

Anyone try Qdoba?

they are all pretty much the same to me

I agree with Salmon.

The "garbage" comments are typical.

I can see it if you don't like Starbucks but to say it's garbage is stupid.

Freebirds is the model for the rest of these. It's been around forever, late 80s. I first went to Freebirds in 1992 and it's just about the only thing that made living in College Station bearable.
Interesting side note, Freebirds was founded by the cousin of the guy that founded Kinkos.

That being said:
chipotle
Moes
Never had Izzos

Izzo's is by far my favorite of the 3. I didn't care for Moe's. Chipotle is ok

Moe's >>>> Chipotle

Moe's has more topping options, better food, plus it has cheese dip and their salsa is free.

eta those hating on Moe's obviously haven't been to a good one

Izzos is better, but I will say they can have consistency issues at certain locations. When they are on, it's very very good though. Didn't like Moe's at all last time I had it. Chipotle is mediocre. Not a fan of Qdoba either.

In BR I would say:

Izzos
Zippy's
Chipotle
Qdoba

And Moe's didn't survive

Izzo's for burritos, Moe's for quesadillas, and Zippy's for nachos.

Qdoba and Izzo's are tied in my books. I like the meat a little better at Izzo's but Qdoba's nachos are much better than Izzo's. i never liked Moe's or Zippys

I love Izzos and probably eat it once a week. Good fresh ingredients but a little expensive IMO. The only thing that pisses me off about Izzos is the sorry excuse for a cup of queso with the regular meal deal that I'm already paying $12 for. Seriously Izzos, you're gonna give me a cup of queso that MIGHT be enough for a 3rd of the chips you give me AND it's so small you cant even really good a good dip. My only gripe with Izzos and it pisses me off every time.

I wish I had any of those joints to complain about. I've been to a Chipotle 1x and a Qdoba maybe 3x and liked both.

Never had it but there is one like a mile from me now. I hear good things.

Izzos out the the choices, but doesnt knock my socks off. I do like burritos though and it suffices for quick and easy
