Dodie's used to do boils and they were pretty good but they didn't do them all the time.

I lived there for a year and never found any that were good. Everywhere puts Tony's on the outside after boiling. No thanks.

Nate's in Addison has been in business for a long time and they have crawfish on the menu. I've never had the crawfish there but Nate is from south Louisiana and I would be surprised if he did the "spice after boiling" method. Call and ask and be ready to pay out the arse for the crawfish.

Half Shells in Snider Plaza has some good ones. They have the best Poboys too. TJs Seafood is good too. A lot of people like Nates but I have never had anything good there.

Nate's does a good broiled stuffed shrimp. Never had crawfish there but Nate is a Louisianian- lived down the street from him in LC, so I'm sure he knows what he's doing.

Lol @ Nate's. They season the crawfish on the outside with Tony's.

Nates doesn't put Tony's on them. They have an option of extra spicy and they sprinkle some damn hot spices on top. They do a good job

If you havent found any in dfw then you haven't been looking hard.

Alligator cafe in dallas is great

Tailgaters in plano is legit. They are from sulphur and breaux bridge.

Shuck n jive does a good job

For crawfish? The rest of their food is beyond bad.

Really? You're the only person I've heard ever say that

Been going there for years and in fact took a group of LA residents and lsu fans there the weekend of Oregon game and TCU game and everyone loved it.

nates is fricking god awful

there's a place in plano called the boiling pots that is decent, they don't pour Tonys on after the boil.

this season I'm probably just going to buy some live and do them myself.

nates had the worst étouffée I've ever had. the alligator app was pretty bad, and the gumbo was so fricking bland. that place sucks.
