I picked a rotisserie chicken and used it in my gumbo last night

The chickens were on sale and I figured it would save me 20 min of prep/cook time.

Best gumbo Ive ever made.

No, real roux. Equal parts canola and APF

Its cheaper than chicken thighs. Better IMO.

i use that chicken all the time for mine. As long as its just the straight up normal flavor andd not lemon pepper or something.

It saves a ton of time frmo me having to broil and shred my own chicken.

A rotisserie bird and some Better Than Bouillon never hurt nothing. Especially gumbo.

I actually always do this. I have paste that turns into broth and my roux is made from butter.
