if its a nice place and i got respectable service i would tell them, or just tip the extra amount.

if service sucked then F them.

For me, it's all about karma.

I wouldn't opportunistically take advantage of a restaurant's owner because of a server's blunder.

If you've noticed the error, do the right thing and offer to pay for what you've consumed.

We got comped $120 in drinks one time because they didn’t add it to our table. I asked before if the tab would be moved over to the table, said yes. When the bill came I noticed the drinks weren’t on there. It was a great restaurant experience. The manger came up, said thank you for your honesty, it’s on us.
