Expensive but good meat generally.. Although as I stated before I did find that I prefered the steak I got at Little Village downtown which was also much cheaper.

Catman88, you could eat steak with God and you'd tell him there was too much butter on it.

What you need is a STEAK pizza from Johnny's. Then you might know.

Expect to pay about 50-60 per person there. Not including drinks.

That is what I was thinking. It has been a while, but I remember being able to get out of there for around $125 with drinks and sides.
No bottles of wine though.

Went a couple of weeks ago and our bill was $240 for 5 people before the tip. That included the steaks, two appetizers and 3 sides. The sides are too large for one person, so we shared them. None of us had more than two drinks.

Steaks were good as usual.

ETA: Forgot the 4 salads.

Yes I was including the sides in that. (Salad and potato) since most places come with that included but is ala carte at the high end places.. Makes for a better comparison.

Cat, where exactly is Little Village downtown? Because we are definitely going to eat there next time we are in BR.

Its at on Lafayette St a block off river road at Main street. Place is very solid. Can be pricey if you go overboard but I thought the 28 dollars for the 14 oz ribeye with sides was a great value.

Lafayette street, between Main and Laurel. Take North street exit, then turn left on Lafayette, the street before River Road.

Thanks JS and Cat. I may try to organize a little road trip to BR with a few of our friends to eat at Little Village, based on your reviews.

Thanks.

I remember going to The Village off of Airline (or was it Little Village) in the late 80s. It was part of the "di Stefani kitchen" family. As was Jack's Grill near Bocage (now closed).

Chain?

Wow, that's way too expensive for me. NO steak could possibly be that good.
