Sea salt and cracked black pepper is all you need. Don't forget to microwave the crawfish a bit first so they can reach optimal temperature before boiling.

Here might be some help for you though if looking for a calculated mixture.

I do like the crab boil liquid more than the seasoning powder.
Especially for more than 2 sacks.

I use both, but I use more liquid.

Sounds good, but too much measuring. I just eye it all.

And FYI, instead of the huge sausage, use the little smokies. They are awesome!!

I eyeball some zats liquid seasoning bags and a shot of powder . And always add powder to the ice chest with each new batch . I love some mushrooms in there with ill usually eat a half pound before I even get started on the crawfish . I also use a Pound or so of butter in the pot

I really wish the admins would sticky an old thread about this shite. Every year around this time there is a thread a day about this.

I have never been a fan of putting powder on the outside of boiled crawfish. This always seemed to be popular outside of South LA. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

I'm boiling some tomorrow and am gonna trust your judgement. I haven't been the lead cook on a crawfish boil in at least 10 yrs.

I steam them (DO NOT WASH FIRST) for 45 minutes. Then I dump them in an ice cheats and dump a few boxes of Tonys on them. Close the lid for 10 minutes.

BOOM!
