How much longer will Tio Javi's last?

My mom decided to go there with some friends last night after I told her many times she would be disappointed. Her and I used to be huge fans of Ninfas back in the hay day and I guess she still has some sort of nostalgic feeling towards the location. Anyway, she called me to tell me how shitty it was and I just laughed and said I told you so. I actually like the location and setup (other than the parking) but am wondering how much longer this place can possibly last? What y'all say?

Ninfas was garbage when it closed. Late 90's early 2000's Ninfas with all the Pinatas was pretty good.

You need to meet new people and listen to them.
That place is awful.

I'm not real picky about Tex Mex places but all I ask for is fresh ingredients and good fresh salsa. If you don't have good salsa, you're not getting my business. Tio's has neither.

+1 , I went there expecting the old Ninfa's red salsa. Uh... negative. Good thing I can make my own Ninfa's red

Went there last weekend expecting some improvement from the old Ninfa's. Very disappointed. Nothing had changed but the name. Won't be going back any time soon.

I prefer LaCarreta over Tio Javi's, Mi Padres, & Agave Blue

LaCaretta and Agave salsa are very similar. I hate Mi Padres salsa.

As a college kid I love the new Sunday-Thursday deal of $1 Tacos and $7 Margarita pitchers after 8pm (or 9pm).

I don't think they are close to going out of business. The place looked to be pretty packed the last few times I drove by.

Which place wasn't better in the late 90's than it is today? Same with Hooters, they used to have semi-decent food and wings, and now, not so much.

Tio's green dip is awesome. I could eat it with a straw. the rest of the place is OK. Not terrible but nothing to write home about either.

Don't forget about the Hooters girls either.
