Found a big green egg xl with the stand for 425 it hasn't been used but it is out of the box and looks like parts may be missing.. Should I buy it?

Update: ended up getting it for 100 dollars.. Needs a new ring that attaches the dome to the bottom and the ceramic cap that goes on the exhaust is broken. Other than that it's in brand new condition. I called BGE to see if they would just send me the parts but when I told him my receipt was from a store called dirt cheap he just laughed and said it has to be from a licensed dealer for them to warranty it but I could buy the parts at any dealer and if they didn't have it they would order it for me. We got to talking and when I told him what I paid for it he didn't believe me. I may keep it or I may sale it and make a buck but one of the best deals I ever came upon.

Any part can easily be bought at a local dealer or directly from Bge. What do you think is missing?

$425... if you don't buy it, I will! Unless it's a piece of shite.

This.
Before I bought mine, every dealer I went to to look all said they stock a full range of parts if anything needed to be replaced.

Parts are easy to get. Unless it is missing the lower or upper dome, then that is a rocking deal.

Did you try calling a BGE dealer? Or BGE egg directly?

Unless it is missing the whole lid, then I think that is probably a pretty good deal, especially since it includes a stand.

I'd contact Dirt Cheap first. They're legit, I buy hunting stuff from them all the time. Ask if they can get parts for you? They buy big and sometimes damaged and mismatched lots and then sell.
