Yesterday morning I put some cut up chicken to marinate in buttermilk and Tabasco hot sauce. Of course it was seasoned with salt, black and cayenne peppesr, paprika, garlic and onion powders. Then toward late afternoon I got the oil heating and while that was going dredged the chicken pieces in seasoned flour. Once the oil reached 360* it was time to start frying. I also made some cole slaw while the oil was heating up.

Doesn't get much more American than home fried chicken, slaw, freedom fries, all served on an Old Glory plate!!
