I only need a lb or two of it, the shipping costs are pretty extreme. I used to buy it at Targil in Opelousas but I've moved so it's a little further than I like to drive.

It's not going to kill me to pay 12 bucks shipping for 12 bucks worth of cheese but I wanted to check if there are local options first.

I'm interested too. Had to buy mine off of Amazon and I don't need 5 pounds at a time.

https://www.bitesandboards.com/ is located on Jefferson near Bluebonnet.

Also, Cabelas/Bass Pro carries it sometimes.

Perfect, I needed to order some stuff from there anyway and have gift cards. Should put me over the free shipping threshold. Always forget to check them. Thanks.

What do you use hi-temp cheddar for? I've never heard of it

Doesn’t melt/maintains shape when cooking. Good for sausage and burgers.
