re: Help Me to Like Gin

Gin is great in classic cocktails. In my opinion, gin needs something to balance it out. The following classic cocktails are my favorites (in addition to the negroni).

Try a last word:

1oz Gin
1oz Lime Juice
1oz Chartreuse
1oz Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur

Or an aviation:

2oz Gin
.5oz Lemon Juice, strained
.375oz Creme de Violette
2tsp Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
(and up to .5tsp simple)

Or a corpse reviver (no. 2):

1oz Gin
1oz Cointreau
1oz Lemon Juice
1oz Cocchi Americano (do NOT use Lillet Blanc - Cocchi Americano is more quinine heavy, more similar to the previous recipe of Kina Lillet)
1dash Absinthe
