Has anyone tried the smoked pepper jack boudin from Market Basket in Lake Charles?

My brother was just telling me about this gift from the gods.

I'll be out there in a couple weeks... I've never had Market Basket nor Sonniers but i plan on checking out both.

I went to one of the Market Baskets once, and it looked like a ghetto discount grocery.

I've never had the smoked PJ boudin from MB but the regular doesn't compete with any of the places near Scott, VP, etc

Just to clarify, is everyone talking about the Market Basket on Nelson Road in Lake Charles (that actually makes/smokes the sausage), or a random Market Basket grocery store in another city in SWLA?
I'm not a fan of gimmicky boudin, but would put their regular/smoked boudin and smoked green onion sausage in the upper echelon of that available west of Scott, LA.

I think it's safe to assume they're talking about the Nelson road location. I've only seen their regular and smoked boudins at other locations. I enjoy all of the market basket smoked boudins. The pepperjack flavor is a nice way to change things up.
The spicy smoked from Hackett's is the best in town, followed by sonniers.

Boudin and cheese do not belong together IMO. The cheese overpowers the boudin and boudin is why I get boudin

THIS!
Why do places insist on trying to mix in crap with boudin?

I would think the same but people go nuts over the pepper jack boudin balls from Billy's. I've never had them myself.
