Burger King is getting into the Halloween spirit.

For a limited time, you can enjoy its black bun burger called the Halloween Whopper.

The Halloween Whopper will feature a black bun that has A1 Sauce baked into it. The sauce will also be prominent on the burger, along with cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, mayonnaise, pickles and onions.

This Whopper is a variant of the Kuro Burger, which Burger King released in Japan last September.

It included black hamburger buns, black cheese, and black ketchup – which were made by using squid ink and bamboo charcoal.

Burger King will offer the “Halloween Whopper” starting September 28th for $4.99.

Actually it was available locally yesterday, the 26th.

Just ate one. Same as a regular Whopper, except it has a crumbly black bun. You're better off eating a regular Whopper in the dark. Now that's scary.

I guess I'm old but $5 seems like a lot for a whopper. When I was in high school we could get 2 whoppers for $2.

Back before that day I remember when they actually were flame broiled and not a bad burger. They always seemed to have strong onions.

Fast food, aside from pizza, has definitely had high inflation the last 20 years.

.99 jumbo jacks and whoppers were common back in the 90's.
