I was really shocked at the seasoning on the fried grouper fillet for the sandwich/wrap. I dare say that's one of the better pieces of fried fish I've ever had. Probably do a lunch there every time we're in the area.

In the same realm as Tommy Bahama's - has anyone been to Mitchell's Fish Market?

That looks good. A bit classier than most in the area, though that may just be their website.

It's a chain that you could eat at anywhere from Cincinati to Pittsburgh to Jacksonville. I'm not knocking Mitchell's at all - hell, I don't know anything about it. But, when I'm on vacation, I don't want to eat at a chain. It just doesn't feel right.

If you're getting away from the waterfront dining, you might as well go in to Baytown Wharf. It's fun, there's decent dining, and there's nightlife. Personally, I prefer Bistro Bijoux for fine dining and Graffiti for more casual dining.

Just my two cents....

Yeah... that's what I kept thinking about. I really don't like chains, but some are good. Now we're thinking about Camille's after my friend "highly" recommended it. It's also on/by the water. It's local and doesn't have a website, but they have a FB page and the entrees look really good.
