Good places to buy good beer in NOLA

I recently moved out here have hit some of the bars, but where's the good places to purchase for home consumption?

Steins has a weird setup. Go through the store and all the way to the back. Whole foods in Metairie also has a decent beer selection.

They really do but why is everything in the cooler? That is kind of a pain in my opinion.

It's for a year. I live on a third floor and only pay 790 rent per month for two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a pretty spacious living area.

Honestly, I live in an insanely safe section of it, and we have around 8 policeman that live on site one of which is always considered "on-duty" just in case.
