Looking to go somewhere on a Saturday night with about six people. Looking for good steak or seafood, average price per entree less than $50

Well I've never eaten at Ruth Chris and I assumed you average over $50 there at least

Had a fantastic meal at Flemings last night. Prime steaks ranging from 40 to $55. Most non steak options are somewhere in the upper $35-45 range.

Ruffinos would be another strong option. I've heard good reviews from Stroubes lately but I'm just not all that impressed with their menu.

Ruffinos is my go to nice restaurant in a city that lacks really good restaurants.

That is a joke. Trust me, Baton Rouge has some EXCELLENT places to eat. Maybe you are from here or came from somewhere with better options but in the grand scheme of things, Baton Rouge has it pretty good in the restaurant department. Not the best but there are plenty of really good restaurants, especially if you venture away from the crowded and "must be seen at" restaurants.

Galatoire's Bistro
Mansur's -get the chargrilled oysters

Those aren't necessarily "steak and seafood". They serve steaks and they're fine, but the menus are heavier in the seafood range.
