About 15 of us are going down to Geuydan for a bachelor party duck hunt this weekend and one night we are planning on going to Lafayette for some dinner and extracurricular activities. What can yall recommend for a big group? Not looking for some 5 star $$$ dining or anything, just good food and good atmosphere. TIA

Well, It really depends. Just for good food, go to Abbeville and eat at Shucks or even closer to Geydaun is C'est Bon in Mermentau.
If you could be a little more specific by what you mean for atmosphere, we can help you out better.

If you're going to Gueydan just stop at Hebert's seafood and steakhouse in Kaplan. Unless the objective is women and not food.

We're probably gonna go out after dinner, so that's why I mentioned Lafayette.

Ruffinos has an awesome atmosphere especially with a table in the bar area.

Considering that y'all want to go out after, I would suggest these two places as well.

I'd take Ruffinos over either of those by a mile and we have uber so location doesn't matter

For about the same distance you could hit up the L'Auberge or Nugget casinos in Lake Charles and kill both the food and the entertainment requirements with one trip.

Looking for food closer, I've heard nothing but good things about the Regatta Restaurant in Lake Arthur. LINK
You think Lake Arthur you think run down camps and a bunch of folks with mud between their toes, but this place is nice.

If you must do Lafayette, Social is good. Crowd is mostly 25-35 year olds. Michaels is a good strip club, but it's in Broussard. Either way someone is gonna have to be a DD cause no way ya'll are Ubering to and from Gueydan.

Personally, I'd stay at the camp, bbq, drink, and try to find some girls to go meet ya'll.

A bus? You guys do it right! LOL

I hear the Donut Queen in Kaplan has some kick arse donuts if ya'll want to do a Saturday morning donut run.

Ruffinos, Tsunami if you are into sushi and are ok with the downtown bars, La Fonda is always fun but that may be more of a view that locals have (food there isn't spectacular-definitely an atmosphere spot).
