Visiting in laws this Christmas and would like to stock up on good beer and then try as wide a range of local stuff as possible on tap.
Thanks in advance

I used to go to Wine Country but I don't know who runs it these days.
Brewniverse on Pierremont and Line Avenue for craft bottle selection
Strange Brew has a big selection but hard to tell what is fresh.
Rotolo's or Twisted Root is probably best bet for food and craft erection

Wine country moved recently and I'm not sure if the new spot has a retail section but they never had much of one anyway. Tap selection is weak.
Brewniverse is a good suggestion - the other 2 nearby are Cuban Liquor and Tony's. Brewniverse has the most but very little of it is sold cold. Cuban is next best choice.
OP, try the Great Raft brewery - they'll have around 8 beers on tap at any given time. Really cool tap room and great beer.

to buy beer: Brewniverse or Cubans
beer on tap: Twisted Root or Rotolos
You could also just go to the taprooms (Great Raft and Red River)
avoid Flying Heart

Went to brewniverse and Cuban today; thanks for the suggestions!
I got quite a lot of prairie beers, all the Fantome, a couple anchorage bottles, a selection of other things new to me (St Arnold's!) and I now should be able to weather the 10 day visit to the in-laws.
The freshest Envie I found was mid-November, and it is not juicy/hazy at all (but is still a really good apa).
If all goes to plan, I'll hit great raft and red river here and get down to Parish as well.
