It's OK, but you'll have better jambalaya almost anywhere else - even at a restaurant.

Went once would not go back...crawfish festival in breaux bridge is much better

I love it and go every year, but make sure you get the pork and sausage, not the chicken. Also, the first night is typically the Champ of Champs competition where only past champs can compete. That night generally has the best chicken-on-the-bone jambalaya available.

I went a few years ago and was very underwhelmed. I was expecting there to be several different groups selling their versions of jambalaya -- instead, all there was was a cookoff with very little jambalaya for sale or sample
