Most anything goes at R'evolution. I've seen people walk in on a Sunday in jeans and shorts. Not what I'd wear there, but it's accepted. I'd go with khakis and a button down.

I've enjoyed everything I've had there. The only think any diner had an issue with one time was duck that was slightly overcooked.

For an app, I've had whatever the foie gras prep is when I've been there and it's been delicious every time. I've tasted the beer battered crab beignets with 4 remoulades and they're quite good. Turtle soup is good. People love the death by gumbo with quail. I LOVE the hoisin glazed visiting fish pho. I believe it was halibut when I had it once. Can't recall what fish it was the next time. The short rib preparation has been good. The menu changes a bit from time to time with different preps for some food items. I think it seasonally based in some ways. It's a large menu and hard to choose.

Just had dinner there this Saturday. It's was a great meal. Dress is business casual, jacket encouraged but it's too damn hot for a jacket. Crab beignet app was amazing. 4 variations of remoulade if I recall. I had the tryptic of quail which was fantastic as well. Wife had the stuffed redfish which she said was great. I'd pass on the tomato and cantaloupe salad as it was ok, nothing special. We split some ice cream and chocolate stout cake for desert which was great as well. We had small scoops of chocolate coconut, peanut butter amd marshmallow. go early and enjoy a drink or two at the bar. Can't miss items were the quail and crab beignets.

Eta: the menu is large and everything sounds good. I went with our waiters suggestions for my entree and was very pleased. Came real close to ordering the hoisin glazed fish. Next time for sure.

Quail trio is good. The fried crab (I think) salad was good

My wife got some kind of lobster or crawfish dish and didn't care for it
