Monroe is tiny. The closest for your purposes would probably be one out by Pecanland Mall though.

Haven't been in a while, as I really thought Bahr's frequent absences were causing the quality to go downhill fast.

When I frequented it, I'd always go with the specials of fish dishes. Duck wraps are a good appetizer.

I actually prefer Nonna, but that's just me.

Haven't been lately and don't know what the menu looks like right now. But whatever the fish special is is usually money. Several decent hotels by the mall or on Thomas road in West Monroe. Don't stay on 165 south.

Haven't been since June. The apps and small plates will be good. The duck wraps probably need to be on the list.

As for entrees, he really excels with fish and pay attention to the specials. Hope it's fun.

I actually ate lunch there yesterday, which kill smy whole haven't been there in a while thing. The lunch was spot on. Had the Pimento Cheeseburger (with fried green tomatoes on it) and duck fat fries.

Quality was no issue. Enjoy.

I had the cobia special Tuesday night and it was excellent.

Son was going to do the venison schnitzel that he often gets and enjoys, but waiter mentioned that the kitchen was substituting redfish in the catfish dish. It was outstanding.

Wife ordered the scallops app as her entree and it might have been the best.

Started with blueberry salad and grilled okra. . . and a Sharecropper.

The fish specials are easily the best way to go.
