I'm planning on grilling out before the Alabama vs. Ole Miss game Saturday and need a good recipe for some boudin balls? any suggestions.

I buy them already made at Tony's in the freezer. Cooked some last Saturday myself. Keep them frozen then toss into the hot oil for 4 minutes. Hard to beat.
If you want them already cooked go to Ronnie's on Florida just before Sharp Road. You can get 100 boudin balls for $35.00. They are open Saturday morning and that is a deal. They have great boudin and cracklins.

And it has to be frozen or it will fall apart.

Take your boudin out of the casings. Roll into the size balls you would like. I like mine to be a little bigger than a golf ball.
Beat three eggs in a bowl.
Pour a box of Italian bread crumbs into another.
Dip your boudin balls into the egg wash and then dredge through the breadcrumbs. Then do it again.
Fry in peanut oil or canola oil at 350 till golden brown.
