Decided to do a brisket along with some sausage and boudin, then decided why can't I smoke corn?
So I have 2 ears still in the shuck in the smoker. Curious to see how it comes out. Anyone tried this before?

Do it all the time. Comes out great.
Sometimes I will pull the husk back enough to get some butter and some rub in there, then pull it back down.
BTW the husks are extremely flammable

don't you normally remove the silk first?

I've done it before with good results. Yeah, the husk is flammable. I remove the silks then soak the cob and husk in water for about half an hour then put them on. I love grilled corn, so decided to throw some on last summer from the garden when I was smoking a butt. I left it on there about an hour.
