One thing I notice looking back at old threads is that nobody used the upvote/downvote. Can't remember when that became an option

Over the last few years, the distro brews have had an enormous impact, but the ascension of locals has had an even greater one, for me. I used to have a want to drink locals, but the quality of our options was so limited. But the revolution has begun. I can only hope that some day this place looks like your hood, Jax.

Even in the last year (new Envie recipe last fall, now DH) and more Ghost availability (brewed more often in larger quantities) Louisiana has stepped it up -- that couple with people wanting LA beer for their local GOATs will result in higher quality brews here. I remember going to Avenue Pub and being jacked up they had Hopitulas and West Coast IPA on tap. Come a long way.
