Sort of Farty smelling. By far the most hoppy beer I have tried. Like it but not sure I'm ready for DIPA's yet.

At least you get it in a proper glass. I had it a few times during Mardi Gras, always in a plastic cup.

I had wine last night. Will probably have more tonight as well .. not opposed to having some whiskey too, just no beer.

Trying to work out meeting up with hilt today btw to deliver that beer. Haven't seen Big Ern around. You have his email?

St patty was a tough one. I rode a float in the BR parade and drank 2 boxes of franzia. Man I was fricking hurting.

I thought the backend was better on tap. More of the good stuff carried through to the finish.

Good to know. That was my one complaint was the finish. I noticed that some on here have had that experience on one bottle, but not the next. Could be that some consistency issues need to be resolved. I still have one bottle to do research on.

NBD - Hop Venom from earlier, followed up by a fresh Fresh Squeezed at Deschutes. This place is world class. Fantastic atmosphere, and great beers. I wanted to try one of their one-offs, but Fresh Squeezed was just calling my name. So glad it's in the year-round rotation now.

Barrel Aged Swamp Grape Escape

This is really just okay. Not as tart as I'd want, but it has a pretty good flavor on it. I just want more from it.

I agree. It need to be aged more. Maybe their newer sours wil be more tart. It's definitely descent but just needs to be more to it to compete with the bruery/duchess/new Belgium.
