Damn. I need to revisit Hoptagon and Rougarou. Been awhile since I had either fresh, but I've always thought SSR was better. Sounds like further research is needed.

We all guessed that Hoptagon was SSR just based on Stone's reputation. But I will say that I enjoyed the first batch of DH more than the second. Haven't seen any fresher than March lately. That reminds me that I need to ask Andrew if he plans to go with 4-packs for future DH releases.

4BD: Another DFH 90 Min

Was like finding gold getting this at a store in Midland. Shitty craft beer selection out here, and none of the places I tried had cold bombers.

Same here. The first batch was better. Opposite of Ghost.

I know you've discussed Andrew's hopes for future batches of Ghost. What is your opinion on when he'll brew the next batch?

Sorry, but I'd drink Juke Joint over just about any other single IPA brewed in the state. That's probably more an indictment of the lack of good IPAs brewed around here. But JJ has gotten much better of late, and it's certainly better than Hopitoulas. I think the new brewhouse has produced more consistent beers.

He told me there would be another batch released before the end of the year.

We don't have a great single IPA, that is for sure. Hopitoulas is such a disappointment.

Where will I find some fresh JJ? I want to try it again. The only Tin Roof beer I've ever thought was good is the Parade Ground Porter.
