Very different. Still has the great sculpin characteristics, but just heat at the end.

5BD is my last ghost.

FBD

Out in Gods country. nice change of pace from all the citrus heavy IPAs. Certainly not over the top palate wrecking hoppyness though. Not much on the nose, but a nice balance of malt and hoppy bitterness.

Not bad. Tastes like a lesser Westbrook IPA.

Good times at zapps and managed to stay pretty dry thanks to LA home brew. No many good brews to list. La home brews blueberry sour was great. S14's keylime gose also stood out.

Thankfully the rain held off after that little downpour

I really liked the Chafunkta beers I tried. Both their IPA and stout were excellent

It's alright.. What do the mavens think of this one?

Most agree that it misses the mark. Bitter hops without the good. They need to rework the recipe IMO.

3BD - Other Half Green Diamonds DIPA

Very juicy, thin malt presence, and clean, smooth finish.

FBD - Last pour of a grenade of Ghost I started last night. Debating whether to open my other grenade or share it with some fellow Portland mavens. I will probably share. Too good not to.
