2BD was a DR15 stout while wrapping up home brew day. IPA should come out good.

NBD while cooking is this old friend. Haven't had one in a while. Delicious mosaic hops.

FBD after unpacking back at home is a THA. We had a nice, long weekend in Jackson visiting my daughter. Lots of good meals and beers. The Sat afternoon trip to Coater World was great, as usual.

The weather was great and the lines aren't bad this time of year.

FBD: Commotion with dinner

Crowlers should last awhile if you don't open them, right?

I have a crowler of Ghost that some forgotten poster from long ago gave me and I kinda want to save it for this weekend. It should be good, right?

I will say that the crowler of ghost I had earlier was not as good as what I've had the last couple days in bottles. Not sure why

I mean, technically it's not the same as a can of beer. It's not filled from a canning line, but straight from a tap, which means oxygen exposure (bad for all beers, but especially hoppy beers). That being said, holding onto it until the weekend will be fine. I'd do it and drink it and love it.

But if you asked the brewery who filled it, or even Oskar Blues who started this crowler ordeal, they'd probably say 2-3 days from fill up would be the timeline. Just sharing some info I've read along the way.
