Well the Yeti, I was disappointed with River City Brewing as their amber ale and pale ale tasted so similar. The Killer Whale Cream ale was meh but it may be the mug but Bold City Duke was a nice balance of coffee

Florida has a growing number of craft breweries, and it seems lately that most have no idea WTF they are doing...

Traveling for work this week. In Lakeway/Beecave, TX (outside of Austin). Thinking about shopping for some beer that I can't easily find in Houston (Jester King). Any ideas on where I should start my browsing? The google machine says WhichCraft and Hyde Park Market, both of which are about 20-30 minutes away. Any input from the FBD krewe?

Whole Food and Specs will have plenty of selection. There is a specs off 290 and Mopac.... But I think you can only get most JK stuff at their brewery off Hwy 71 near Dripping Springs....and they are closed today.

Seems like it's like that everywhere. Especially in N. Alabama

Check out Green Room Brewing in Jax Beach. I remember them having good beers when I was down for The Players last time. Also, you can drink pretty cheap at Bold City or Intuition Ale Works as well. Bold City is more of a wharehouse. Intuition is nicer.

If you are looking for a place with a great beer selection, check out Kickbacks Gastropub.
