FBD (and 2015) was a 2013 Breakfast Stout. Coffee had faded, but it was so smooth and mellow. Perfect accompaniment to the crabcakes Benedict that I whipped up for brunch.

NBD is da BOMB! My first and only one. Freaky-smooth for 13% ABV. Interesting to see how well it warms up. Great beer. Hopefully I can do better than one 12 oz for $11 in BR next year.

Excellent stout. Lots of coffee and dark chocolate with a warm, peppery finish. I felt like a fool paying $9 a bottle but guess I got a decent deal after all. Enjoy.

Nice frosted mug lol

Nbd courtyard baby ipa. I agree with Scott it's too bitter. I also think the nose isn't near as good as wise said. Still a solid sessionable ipa. Not on all day level though.

You tripping brah. That beer is head and shoulders better than all day. But then again I've never had all day right out the tank.

FBY - Logsdon Straffe Drieling Farmhouse Tripel

Thanks Jax! Love me some farmhouse ales, especially from Logsdon. I wish this one were a little more attenuated, but it is still very nice. Very flavorful and still fairly refreshing for 8.8%.

Today is my final day to drink until January 23rd for my rehearsal dinner. Gotta shed this 10 pounds I have put on since October. It's going to be tough as hell and frankly, quite boring.

Congrats!

Nbd courtyard dirty josh. It's a brown ipa. It's interesting for sure. I actually liked it better than the baby. 6.5% ABV with a very smooth backbone.

ETA Scott didn't like it.

2BD- ghost in the machine

Trying to limit my drinking for the next few weeks. Trying to go on a diet and also going on a 59 day shutdown at work starting tomorrow. 13 10-hour days in a row starting tomorrow. Going to be a fun 2 months.
