The woman's favorite is the Tika.

List I've had the shrimp and grits and the Cuban. Both top notch.

2 1/2 BD: last of the keg of Texas Refinery DIPA. Too malty for my taste.

Now off to business happy hour and dinner at Morton's, where the beer selection is lacking.

BB - Try the Tartare, if they have it. Fantastic BW.

I wanted it, but my dad is vegan since his heart surgery, so I opted against it as to not make him jealous.

Very nice Bottomland. I miss Bear Republic.

FBD is a So Pro IPA.

So sad they aren't available. Almost shipped some back, but they were 6 months old in Seattle as well.

It's their Berliner Weisse...

Zappas wouldn't be recommending no meat, man...

Shelf turds. I was talking to the beer manager at ABV Pub, and he said that people choose the local options over out-of-state options because they think want to support local brewers and think that the local beer will be fresher. The local beer does turn out to be fresher, but not because of the distance it travels, but because nobody is buying the out-of-state beer.

His anecdotal evidence doesn't seem to apply to special releases, but to regular out-of-state beers like Racer 5, Sculpin, and Double Jack.
