SBD is a bishops barrel 15.

It looked pretty thin when I poured it, but I like it a lot. BA barleywines are moving up my list of favorite styles.

FBD. I'll give it points for being a unique beer, but I'm not sure I'll finish the bottle. Lots of raspberry on the nose, and the initial taste is the same, but the base phenolic quad rears its head on the back end and clashes with the acidity. Similar to some funkier natural wines.

It'll get you drunk, though.

I got the last pour of Brightside at The Chimes yesterday evening. The keg blew when I ordered by second.

What! Let some stranger look after my kids? I'd rather leave them home by themselves...

I am talking about the cans dated 9/14. This beer is good. Yes, it is malt balanced, but much less than ones I've had before. It is still "balanced", but much more hop forward than ones I've had before.

Bad. Very bad. Try it for yourself--just my opinion.

Love that Causeway.

FBD is an Envie. After a couple of bourbon and sprites.
